The Southeast U.S. has already had a very hot summer. Seems like we skipped spring and went directly from winter to summer. One day last week Syresa and I were driving the main roads of Sevierville and the outside temperature read 96 degrees on our car’s dash. As we headed home and turned into the driveway of our farm, the outside temperature gauge read 85 degrees! An 11 degree drop in temperature at our farm nestled in the valley at the foot of Shields Mountain! Now I know why visitors loved to relax here in 1890 when it was known as Seaton Summer City! The breezes and cool mountain air is a delight and to add to the comfort of Historic Seaton Springs Farm, today we had screen doors installed with our existing French doors! Come stay with us and enjoy the comfort in the valley!
